Something went wrong, but don't fret — let's give it another shot.
The hospitality industry has been decimated by the current operational restrictions, Unfortunately we have been placed in an untenable position, forcing us to police and herd customers. Refusing and restricting customers is not what we do. We are constantly under surveillance with regard to the current rules, making it impossible to satisfy the authorities and the customers. We will not be open until we can treat customers with some normality, until that happens we will only be operating our takeaway service. We had our wedding shortly before the current lockdown - a week before Christmas. We had an small reception of immediate family at the Dunadry Hotel and my husband and I stayed for one night in the honeymoon suite. Planning our day with Dunadry was so much easier than we could have imagined. We were getting married with very little notice and were so time-poor that we just left Kirsty to handle everything for us. She asked all the right questions and understood what we wanted, with none of her own expectations, just great ideas. She was really easy to keep in touch with and very organised. On the day, Mal, Joanne and the rest of the team were fantastic. Everything ran like clockwork and the level of service was perfect - no one ever hovered around us but as soon as you thought "Hmmm maybe another drink now... " someone would appear - the benefit of experience. The hotel was so very beautiful, made extra special by all the Christmas lights and decorations. Our little guests loved the Christmas trees and it didn't matter that the weather didn't permit many photos in the lovely garden - the interior was a gorgeous backdrop for our photographs, especially the big staircase.

The level of service was first rate and actually not something I have experienced before unless going for afternoon tea in London. You would be surprised to know from reading this extremely long review (!! ) that I'm not a girly girl and I have certainly not dreamt about my wedding day for years - but I absolutely felt like a princess on the day. I never really believed my wedding day could live up to all the expectation and hype people put on it, but it surpassed it, and that truly was because of where we had our reception. We'll have no doubts about where to stay to celebrate our first anniversary and will be going for meals as soon as the restrictions are lifted. …
The room we ate in was decorated in a modern, romantic, luxe style and everyone loved the food. Myself and my husband are vegan and he has a nut allergy, so we are not an easy bunch to cater for but it was completely understood, no explanation required, and our meal choices were far from an afterthought. All the meat-eaters agreed on how good theirs was too. We stayed in the Lime Tree Suite and were knocked for six. The hotel has clearly invested a lot in their accommodation and we felt really special staying in this amazing suite. It was beautiful with gorgeous views. Fancy bed, fancy sofas, fancy bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe bigger than a kitchen I used to have. Style and substance. Between the room and the reception we were delighted at how spoiled we were, especially for our budget - unbelievable value for money for a 4 star hotel. I think what stands out the most is all the thoughtful touches - signing our champagne cork for the hotel to display with all the other couples they have hosted, the 'Mr and Mrs' bathrobes, the 'Bride' and 'Groom' deserts.
